Another custom version of OW’s more ubiquitous military watch, the ref.105. It was made for US Naval Officers serving in Vietnam. The dial bears not just the US Navy emblem, but a specific rank within it. The crossed anchors only feature on the badge of a commissioned Naval officer. Popular with those that held that rank and those who aspired to it. US Army, US Navy and US Airforce Branch insignia OWs very seldom come up at auction, in fact other we know of only one surviving example of this particular model. Do get in touch if you know of another!
