A specialist racing chronograph with a tachometric average speed scale, sweep second hand, 1/5 second calibrations and hi-visibility orange lollipop chronograph hand for fast readings. A rotating bezel with minutes and hours calibrations and a  minute recording dial, with duel coloured yachting timer. Telemeter Distance Scale, for measuring distance using the speed of sound, eg, used by pilots to calculate direction and distance away of thunderstorm. As worn, ‘unofficially’, by Flt Lts Terry Kingsley and Peter Evans of the RAF Red Arrows team during the 1968 London – Sydney Air Race. A gruelling 12,000 mile, 78 hour dash to the other side of the world in a single engine light aircraft, with only a fold-out canvas map and duel register Valjoux 7733 chronograph to guide the way.
